upon arrival at metro station no one could tell me how to get to Turkenstrasse. I was finally instructed to take another metro and wound up about an hour's walk from where the hotel really was located (and only about 5 minutes from teh original metro stop). Better directions would have saved me much time and a great deal of walking and frustration.

While the room was adequate, it was by no means 'spacious'. I am not complaining. I am simply explaining the 'good' rating I gave to question 8.

Check out was a breeze...no problems at all encountered.

Hotel has a tram stop (Sudbahnhof) almost right outside the front door which takes you to the heart of Vienna tourist district. In three stops you arrive at Univ of Vienna, the Theater, and Hofbrau. Five stops gets you to museum district, and one or two after that, you reach the Opera. Also on same tram is the Market Place and Belvedere as well as Sudbahnhof rail station. This was a fantastic 'extra' not described on the website.

Great price and location. Very friendly staff. Easy access by tram to everything you want to see and do in Vienna. A real bargain in one of the world's greatest cities!

We enjoyed staying there. The included breakfast was very tasty and more than adequate. We actually recommended the hotel to other travellers we met later on in our holiday.

I was happy to find out there was free internet connection at the hotel. Also, I made a few local calls from my room and was nto charged for them.

Very cost effective - relatively cheap and not fancy, but comfortable and centraly located.
