Expectations were high but were exceeded. especially room was larger than expected.

Villa Sassolini is not cheap, but the services and accomodation are certainly worth it.

+ Restaurant uses fresh herbs from own Vila garden.
+ Chef Andrea prepared some dishes that were mouthwatering!

Luxurious and ultimate relaxing for a mid-week. This is how you imagine a week away from work! Perfect base for trips to Sienna, Florence and Arezzo. Very good restaurant which is even worth going when not stayin at the Villa Sassolini.

Villa Sassolini is a wonderful exception in the hotel panorama. The interior decoration is so stimulating that we feel immediately

We enjoyed so much our stay that we returned for two days more on the next week

As we had to have an early departure the breakfast was served before the usual time
and the person in charge for the check out arrived earlier with a very friendly disposition. The staff is all very friendly.
Makes us feel like home.

You should include more photos of the outside and of the restaurant that is also very beautifully decorated

We arrived and the gate was locked with a note to call a telephone number for access, but we weren't carrying a cell phone. However, shortly after we returned to the car to figure out what to do, someone came to the gate and admitted us.

We were in Italy two weeks, and this hotel was our very favorite with its spacious rooms, taseful and modern decor and lovely views. We could only improve it by having a bit more lighting for reading. Staff was most helpful, calling wineries ahead for us and so forth. An outstanding property that I have already recommended to friends!

I think the views and fabulous modern Tuscan decor are worth mentioning. Also the rooms were larger than the usual we experienced and the bathroom/shower was also larger.

A wonderful Tuscan retreat for travelers who want to get away. There is not much else in the town of Moncioni, so for variety you'll want to venture out for sightseeing and lunches. The on-site restaurant is posh. We ate there one evening and the next we bought cheese and salami and wine and picnicked in our room. In fine weather, the terrace would be lovely.

Immaculately clean rooms. Breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside from the pool area and the road behind the villa. Menu is limited, but the food was well-prepared.

They confused the room bookings on the day and had given our room to another couple. We had to move rooms two days later.

All staff were very nice and very polite, but the receptionist wasn't very knowledgeable or helpful. Shel lacked proactivity - if you asked for a specific map she would give it to you, but otherwise wouldn't provide ideas of where to go, how to get there, what to do, what events were taking place, etc.

The restaurant is absolutely fantastic - panoramic views, romantic, good wine and an excellent chef. We ate there several times.

Wonderful hotel in an old Italian villa at the top of a hill in the country. Every room differently decorated in muted colours, great restaurant, fabulous views. Very romantic. But take a guide, a detailed map and don't expect concierge service!

Beautiful location, but hard to get to. Only restaurant in little village is at the hotel, so must travel at least 1/2 hour by car to find another restaurant.
