As i arrived late at about 23.00hrs i could have missed a bit of signs so it could be that it was also a bit of my fault that i didn't find my way immediately but on the whole the directions where not bad.

This villa is located in a very good location obviously if you have a car,with beautiful surroundings and as peaceful as can be.I would be very happy to visit again and would like to thank the staff who were very discreet but reached our expectations and are always ready to help.

The bathroom is not of the same quallity as
the rest of the appartment.
The drainage of the batn tub has no
conection to open air. A vacum occurs which
makles it way through for ex. the WC.
The hot water regulation is depending on
other taps which makes it very difficult to
keep at a constant temperature.
To take a shower you have to use the bath
tub which has no curtains to prevent the
water from spreading all over the rest of
the room.

The nearest village, San Casciano, is not
very touristcated and charming with good
shops and restaurants.

The I Barronci is an excellent place to stay
for some days if you want to make excursions
to the central parts of Toscana. We really
enjoyed our breakfasts in the glased veranda
in the garden.

I love that it was a family run business and you could see they took pride in what they did. The prices were very fair (one thing they might mention is that they charge 3 Euro's a day for changing towels, that we didn't know about until we got the bill---you may want to mention that upfront. It wasn't an issue for us, but it might be for some people who have longer stays) and everything was taken care of very nicely. I would have liked to gone into the jacuzzi, but it wasn't warm---but then I didn't ask if they would heat it up, so I don't know if that would have happened---it really isn't a minus, because the weather was rather cold and blustery, so I don't know if that was the reason, too.
All in all, we would definately return. It was absolutely beautiful interior, exterior and peoplewise!

The breakfasts were better than expected! They had such variety and very good quality items. Great pastries!

We already have told our friends that it was a family run, very comfortable/friendly, beautifully appointed/landscaped Tuscany farmhouse, that you felt like you were at home in! We would have liked to have stayed longer and we loved the little village of San Casciano---we did some great shopping in a very low key atmosphere! Also, it's an easy drive into Florence. So a super location for us.

a gorgeous location. Great staff and
facilities, as well as a central locatation
for activities in Tuscany. Highly
recommended.
