Enjoyed stay immensely. Two suggestions: 1. install outside phone lines and internet access, and 2. initiate twice-a-week laundry service for towels, etc.

family of four and there were some maintenance
issues (clogged drain, ants)

If you want to stay in Sorrento where you can
walk easily into town but where the pace is
quieter and more local, Coltur Suites is a
great option. You feel part of a small
fishing village (Marina Grande) but can walk
to the bustling center of Sorrento and all
transportation hubs in 5 minutes. Little
markets are nearby so that you can take
advantage of the apartment kitchen. Views
out of our unit were wonderful and we also
enjoyed the bells in the local church ringing
on the quarter hour. Francesca (property
manager) was very helpful with the apartment
and with advice on travel.

I would gladly recommend the place to a friend. It is extremely conveniently located, well designed, shiny clean and 100% comfortable. I believe it has the best location in Sorrento.

The view of their room (# 700) was so fantastic ! But the doors was so noisy, people doesn't take care of that.

The receptionist, Francesca, was most welcomeing and was extremely helpful in guiding us to the appartment and getting us settled in.

We were early so we had to wait. We checked in at the travel agency which was much farther from the tram than it looked on the maps.

This was a lovely place. It overlooked the bay and it was easy to walk around Sorrento. It was very clean, comfortable and new. It was not very close to the tram, so we took a taxi with all our bags. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

The travel agent came to the apartment to check us out and called us a cab. It was very convenient.

The travel agency was at the side of the Hotel Central. It was a little hard to find on foot.

This was a cute apartment overlooking the Bay from the dining/living area. The Marina Grande is a quaint fishing marina, which adds lots of character (and some odd scents at times). There were some great trattorias there as well. There was a small hill you have to walk up and down to get to the apartment, however, there is a small elevator in the building.

It was a little unclear how far way the Coltur office was from the train station. Having our luggage with is, we would have gladly taken a taxi had we known the distance we had to walk.
The checkin was quick and easy. They were nice enough to call us a cab to get to the apartment.

We really liked the apartment. It was very clean and spacious and had all the amenities that you need. The apartment had a great view of Marina Grande the we enjoyed everyday. The hotel was far enough away to feel relaxing yet an easy walk into town.

Coltur Suites is a great getaway apartment just out side of Sorrento with access to the town, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was very clean and spacious with all the amenities you need to eat in if you so wish. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay and the beautiful view of the Marina Grande below.

only question about coltur suite is the distance between rooms and parking, especially when parkings are full.

I would suggest you leave basic groceries like coffee, salt, peppar, sugar etc as everyone who stays must buy them and then throw away a lot, so it is very wasteful.

The location was wonderful- a beautiful view directly over the harbour. Perfect to watch the sun go down from the balcony. Very close to the little marina in front and the old town.
I think it would be good to mention how expensive parking is and that all the carparks are a long way from the accomodation. I would suggest people resist hiring a car to get there as it is so expensive to park and unnecessary to have a car given the location of the apartment and good bus and ferry routes nearby.

Overall it was a wonderful place to stay in terms of location, views, cleanliness, layout and access to beach and historic town.

Everything was just fine but there were not enough plates, knives, forks and spoons. A big salad bowl would be very useful too.

We very much appreciated being away from tourists while in coltur suites and we enjoyed an authentic Italian atmosphere(nice grocery store and restaurant, natives at the beach,traditional events...)

I would say it was good value for money. The apartment we stayed in was very clean when we arrived. I did feel that a change of towels during our stay would have been good -we stayed for 5 nights / 6 days and within this time we had to use the same towels each day. All in all, I would recommend the accommodation to a friend
